Opšte informacije

Naša delatnost je informisanje, savetovanje i zastupanje prava i interesa potrošača, nezavisno od državnih organa i privrede, u skladu sa evropskim standardima i strogim etičkim kodeksom.

APOS je savez koji čine punopravni članovi – brojni individualni članovi i  šest lokalnih organizacija potrošača: Pokret potrošača – Bor, Pokret potrošača – Požarevac, Ravnopravni potrošač – Novi Sad, Udruženje građana za zaštitu potrošača „Košava“ – Vršac, Udruženje potrošača i korisnika javnih usluga – Šabac i Udruženje potrošača – Valjevo.

 

Projektne aktivnosti

 

APOS ima više nivoa delovanja na korist potrošača i u skladu sa tima razrađuje posebne strategije na osnovu kojih  apliciramo na različite nacionalne i međunarodne fondove. APOS je od svog osnivanja implementirao 15 projekata iz različitih potrošačkih oblasti:

  • individualnog i kolektivnog savetovanja potrošača
  • nezavisnog uporednog testiranja roba i usluga
  • informisanja potrošača putem sopstvenih medija
  • monitoringa tržišta
  • bezbednosti hrane
  • zaštite životne sredine
  • istraživanja iz oblasti finansijskih, komunalnih, turističkih i drugih usluga

Članstvo u institucijama

 

  • APOS je pridruženi član Svetske organizacije potrošača Consumer International (CI)
  • APOS ima predstavnika u Savetu za bezbednost proizvoda, koji je osnovala Vlada Republike Srbije da bi unapredila sigurnost i kvalitet proizvoda na srpskom tržištu.(2013)
  • APOS ima predstavnika u Nacionalnom savetu za zaštitu potrošača Vlade Republike Srbije  (2012)
  • APOS je član skupštine Instituta za standardizaciju Srbije ISS (od 2007)
  • Predstavnik APOS-a je ispred Skupštine Instituta za standardizaciju (ISS) izabran za člana UO u ISS (2011)
  • APOS ima predstavnika u Komisiji za standarde iz oblasti zaštite potrošača Z-COPOLCO (2010)
  • APOS ima predstavnika u Komisiji za dodelu EKO znaka Republike Srbije – Ministarstvo energetike, razvoja i zaštite životne sredine republike Srbije (2011)

About us

Association of Consumers in Serbia – APOS is an independent, non-governmental organization established in 2003. with the idea of achieving objectives in the field of protection of consumers’ rights and interests, environmental protection, as well as market surveillance.

 

APOS works independently and impartially from government bodies and other nonconsumer interests groups including industrial, trade, political and syndicate groups.

In the field of quality of communication APOS has been awarded through results of explorations carried out in 2013 within the IPA project „Strengthening Consumer Protection in Serbia“, whose beneficiary is Ministry Of Trade in Serbia in which APOS IS the most recognized consumer organization in Serbia (page 31: Final Report of the 2013 survey ).

Regarding the power of internal organization and capacities, APOS has 5 local member organizations in almost all regions of Serbia. APOS is affiliate member of Consumers International.

Members of APOS are individuals and legal entities, i.e. consumer organizations from Bor, Požarevac, Novi Sad, Vršac and Šabac. Management structure of APOS consists of:  Board of Directors, the Assembly and the Supervisory Board.

 

Projects activities

 

In the last 10 years in it analyzes and researches APOS has developed a significant number of policy papers from a variety of policy fields aimed at political institutions. APOS is also the only consumer organization in Serbia, whose ten-year influx of donations is least dependent on government institutions (4%). APOS has implemented a very significant projects in the following areas:

  • price comparisson and analysis
  • monitoring and amending the legislative framework
  • food safety
  • testing of goods and services
  • environmental protection
  • independent information for consumer
  • tourist rights protection
  • etc.

  • The Council for the Product Safety, which was established by the Government of the Republic of Serbia to improve the safety and quality of products on the Serbian market (2013)
  • The National Council for Consumer Protection of the Republic of Serbia (2012)
  • The Council of the Serbia Institute for Standardization ISS (since 2007)
  • The Board of Directors of the Institute for Standardization of Serbia (2011)
  • The Committee of Standards in the field of consumer protection Z-COPOLCO (2010)
  • TheCommission for the allocation of „ECO – mark“ of the Republic of Serbia which founded by Ministry of Energy, Development and the environment of the Republic of Serbia. (2011)
